The Divine Spirits

The FAQ Hub

There was once an old legend, a folklore, on the continent of Terezel, where in the ancient times, an evil once reigned the entire world. This folklore was called The Angered Evils of Vijölnfír. However, there was also an older legend, called The Fairytale of Fae, a famous tale that was told throughout the whole world which is also one of the same of The Angered Evils.

In the Fairytale of Faea, it was about an ancient spirit dweller called Fae of the Wind Spirits. Faea of the Wind Spirits is the mother of all, guardian of the planet and an Empress of the Seven, along with her friend, Tereziah, The Spirit of Humans. These two tales are one of the same, written and re-distributed by various authors. Although, these works no longer hold the true warning and meanings from the old original tales, people still chose to ignore a crucial message.

The Fairytale of Fae and The Angered Evils used to be one title and one of the same plot. The oldest manuscript of these two dated back to 13-BD(Before Demons) and was called “The Softbearer’s Wise Tales of the Ancients' ', written by a proclaimed poet by the name Hernah Nohls, who was the one to witnes everything.

The tale goes like this….

Faea of the Wind Spirits and Tereziah, used to be two best friends of the ancient past. They got along well as they maintained the balance of the world through peace and harmony. In the era of the Great Softbearers, one kindred individual rose up from the land to pursue the almighty wisdom of both of them. His name was Yylven Itrus. Yylven scoured the lands in search of divine hints and clues, but to avail, there was none. But one day, as he journeyed to Terendel (what was once East Aviel), he stumbled upon a divine goblet, which contained the Power of Miracles.

Yylven brought this divine goblet back to his homeland, Terendel, and proclaimed and taught various lessons and miracles to the sick, the ill, and the poor. However, Faea and Tereziah knew this would happen, since divine objects that fall into the hands of humans will only cause chaos. The angered spirits tracked down Yylven, but to their surprise, Yylven had no intent for exploiting divinity. Thus, they gave Yylven the title as “The First Softbearer.” Softbearers are people who only preach the wise and help when needed, as their titles hold authority and power. Softbearers can also live up to millennia.

But as millennia passed, Yylven grew old. In his 2005 years of life, his powers began to deplete, so he pleaded with the two spirits. But they said no. This was because of the displacement of divine objects. And Divine objects are not meant to be in the hands of humans. Both Faea and Tereziah took the goblet back and gave Yylven 1000 more years to live because of his great accomplishments. However, with much greed and avarice, Yylven swore to to get that goblet back.

However, one night, in the year 405-OD, an incident and a great miracle occurred. Yylven became detached from the earthly plane and had ascended to a true Softbearer, but this came with a price, immortality and sacrifice. The two spirits, went to check on the planet they were supposed to keep watch. But to their surprise, chaos ensued. Yylven had taken every divine object and had given them to humans.

The First Softbearer had turned vile. Throughout the ages and eons and years, multiple calamities and wars ensued. The battle between the divine and the mortals became too much, the influence of human greed had turned Tereziah away from divinity. She, for the first time, became a fallen spirit. She was corrupted by the influence of greed, violence, and anger from humans, whom lowered her status to that of a human. She no longer had her powers, and she was heavily abused and taken advantage of.

Even though Yyvlen had no power, he somehow found the use of Plasmahology, plasma based magic. He urspured the world onto his control, placing a curse that brought in demons and monsters, from a place called Inferno's Qualm.

Faea was outnumbered, out-witted and became almost powerless, crying as she lost her best friend. Knowing she was at her weakest moment of emotion, she had called upon the Star Spirits, cosmic divinities much more powerful than her. She requested that the war shall end, and bring peace among the world. The Star Spirits did so, purged the world from war and negative emotions, filling them with life and abundance, sealing the demons and monsters back into Inferno's Qualm.

“Fall beneath your feet, cretin of all flesh! These Divine Artifacts caused your arrogance and greed to become vile! May this world seek divinity once more, one last war, you will be the end of all human-kind. You'll wipe yourself off your feets, scorch your resources, burn your families, and steal other's wealthy status. If thou seek us once again, beg and plead your life before us, we the divine spirits shall no longer be of help”, The Star Spirits proclaimed.

This was the end of the tale.

I myself, Hernah Nohls, a descendant of Yylven, will live throughout the ages of this world, observing it from head to toe, and to remind people not to seek the divine. For if they do once again, they will ignore your pleads and quarrels. I bring myself clear with seriousness and sincerity, do not seek the divine.

This was the end of the tale and the original manuscript, “The Softbearer’s Wise Tales of the Ancients.” No one dared to act, however, the curse still remains. For it was a great reminder to this world that anything can happen within the span of seconds, hours, days, and weeks.
